As a Florida civil trial lawyer people seek my assistance when things go wrong and they feel that the other side, whether it be an individual or business, did not handle the problem well. This happens many times in medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. Most of the time, people do not want sue – they just want answers as to why the bad thing happened. If the hospital and/or doctor would have sat down and really explained the problem, many of these folks would not give a trial lawyer a call.
For those who do not know, Planet Fitness is a low cost fitness center. They usually require a small upfront fee followed by a low monthly fee. As a rule, Planet Fitness does not require a long term contract or commitment unless you purchase a special membership. You can tell the backbone of a business when something goes wrong or something is out of the ordinary.
I recently changed locations and there is a Planet Fitness across the street from the my new location. I wanted to see if I could transfer my membership from my old facility to this new one. It was a simple process that took 4 minutes on line with no strings attached. All I had to do was to my former club's website, hit transfer membership, fill out some billing information and the process was completed. The only catch was that I was committed to my new club for 90 days. Planet Fitness did not try to up sell me or charge me change fees. Within 10 minutes, I was working out at my new facility.
This experience was certainly a privilege and Planet Fitness has a loyal member. I would recommend the club to anybody who wants a clean facility, with equipment that works for a low fee.
